We've come to the end of Alone Australia season 2! Gina and Darren discuss the final episode and reflect on the season as a whole.
Every single person went to the absolute depths of themselves, whether they were there for two days, three days, 63 days, 64 days... What we see is in all of the participants how much grace they show in the face of that.
Gina Chick
Then we're joined by Krzysztof to hear about the physical and mental impact of 64 days in the wilderness surviving on lake weeds, bracken and positivity - including losing about thirty kilos and a lot of sleep. We get a special cameo from his delightful partner Erin, and find out the first thing they're going to buy with the prize money. Plus we learn about a painful mishap involving a fish hook that wasn't caught on film!
I remember tying the last knot on on this fly and I just pulled it a little bit tight and it just sank the hook straight in the top of my thumb.
Krzysztof
