The internet is completely baffled over a coffee chain making 'Buffalo wing lattes'

Candian restaurant chain Tim Horton's has started selling the 'Buffalo latte' in the US - and people are bewildered.

When you think of Buffalo sauce, you likely think of chicken wings, blue cheese dipping sauce, and possibly, American eating competitions. But, do you think of coffee? No? Us neither. 

However, Canadian-owned restaurant chain Tim Horton's apparently does.

For those that simultaneously crave tangy hot chook and coffee at the same time, they've just begun selling their new 'Buffalo latte'.

That's right - it has espresso, steamed milk, and mocha, blended with buffalo sauce flavouring, topped with whipped cream and "zesty" buffalo seasoning.

The drink is only available in Tim Horton stores in Buffalo in the US - which is, of course, the home of buffalo chicken wings. Fox that the strange mash-up was born in honour of Tim Horton's and buffalo chicken wings both being created in the same year. 

“Tim Hortons and Buffalo sauce were both born in 1964, so why not take these two Buffalo staples and combine them?” says Stephen Goldstein, regional president of Tim Hortons US, in a press release.
