is some of the healthiest on earth, with an emphasis on vegetables, meats cooked simply and without much oil, and a near obsession with the fermented vegetable kimchi, which can be something of an acquired taste for some. From carrot rolls to the sweet and sticky honey sesame bars, we've got you that podium finish.

1. Alpine skiing

Use your two ski poles (or chopsticks) and manoeuvre through , a vegetarian dish of sweet potato noodles, zucchini, shiitake mushrooms and chive. Ready in 30 minutes, this dish will earn you a a few high fives from your team.

2. Biathlon

It's a team effort during the biathlon relay event with a wicked sprint finish and you'll adopt that same approach in these . One fries the pancake while another chops all the veg, you've got tofu on the marinade and then you get rolling before a race to the finish line, which is the exciting part!

3. Bobsled

is a Korean sushi roll. The rice is seasoned with sesame oil and salt rather than vinegar and sugar and there is no need for dipping sauce as everything is packed neatly into sheets of kim (nori). This is one speedy roll.

4. Cross-country skiing

Another team event through tough terrain and fits this bill perfectly. Marinated chicken wings are twice-fried and stick together before a little "snow" sets in, in this case chopped peanuts. The perfect flavour balance with a punchy finish and you simply couldn't stop at just one!

7. Freestyle skiing

It's a mixed bag of tricks during this event and you can expect to hit some super-high flavour notes and tricks in a . The variety of vegetables doesn’t really matter too much – use whatever you like, and to keep the integrity of each flavour, you can cook and season each ingredient separately before putting it all together into one complete performance.

8. Ice hockey

The arena (aka your hollowed out watermelon) is ready and now all you need to do is fill it. This  packs a serious punch with watermelon juice, nashi pear syrup, a Korean-style vodka (soju), ginger liqueur and scooped melon balls which you'll be playing with during each top up.

9. Luge

No helmet required during the cooking of this . Place a lettuce leaf in the palm of your hand and just like a sled keep it tight and compact with your stars in tact - in this case, warm rice, kimchi, pork, chilli paste and roll it down the track. The perfect accompaniment to an ice-cold beer.

13. Ski jumping

A Korean round-up without a kimchi recipe is like a ski jumping event without a ramp. It's a necessity and takes your dishes to a whole other level. While the majority of kimchi is left to ferment for months and possibly years, this is easy to make and you can maintain that crunch factor as well.

14. Snowboarding

You'll be flying airborne for a while thanks to these sticky slabs. These ribs are bathed in smoke before being mopped up with gochujanga spicy, fermented, funky and sweet Korean sauce. Get your hands on these
