Crowd overflowing at Sydney Eid Bazaar

Sydney residents have become accustomed to Eid markets.

Eid of Ramadan means new clothes. The Eid market in the Sydney suburb of Lakemba Suburb has added a new dimension by selling iftar and street foods from the very beginning of the Ramadan.

From Borkha to Salwar-Kamij, Punjabi-Pajama, jewellery, perfume with Surma, young people are checking out the products.

Traders displayed their goods from home and abroad. However, the demand for Indian clothing is high due to the prices being cheaper, said the sellers.
