Australia’s Civil Safety Authority suspends operation of Boeing 737 Max jets after Ethiopian crash

Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority has suspended the operation of Boeing 737 MAX-8 aircraft to and from Australia, following the horror Ethiopian crash. 

No Australian airlines operate the 737 Max aircraft - although two foreign airline, Fiji Airways and SilkAir fly the craft to Australia.

Singapore's SilkAir grounded its fleet following Sunday's crash, while Fiji Airways said it "had full confidence in the airworthiness" of its two aircraft.
