美国参议院大比数通过法案禁止反亚裔仇恨

美国参议院罕有地大比数通过法案，打击针对亚裔美国人及太平洋岛居民的仇恨犯罪。

该法案以94票赞成及1票反对成功通过，唯一投反对票的是共和党籍参议员霍利（Josh Hawley），法案稍后将交由民主党占多数席位的众议院表决是否通过。

美国总统拜登（Joe Biden）呼吁通过法案。

他在社交平台推特(Twitter)贴文写道：“我很高兴参议院及美国国会亚太裔党团(Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus)通过COVID-19仇恨犯罪法案，为亚裔美国人及太平洋岛居民的社群展现正义与平等。”

「针对亚裔美国人的仇恨行为是错误的，违反美国人（精神）的，必须停止。」
