સિડની ખાતેના કોન્સ્યુલેટ જનરલ ઓફ ઇન્ડિયાના આદેશ પ્રમાણે રાજ્યમાં રહેતા ભારતીય સમુદાયે પબ્લિક નોટરી પાસે પોતાના વિદેશી દસ્તાવેજો પ્રમાણિત કરાવવા પડશે. નિર્ણય બદલવા ભારતીય સમુદાયે એક પિટીશન દાખલ કરી.
