Its been two years since Indian-Origin delivery man Shiva Chauhan went missing in Melbourne.

On May 2nd, Missing Persons Squad detectives appealed for information on the two year anniversary of the suspicious disappearance of delivery man Shiva Chauhan.

Investigators still hold grave concerns for the 27-year-old’s welfare as he has not been seen or heard from in the past two years.
Chauhan began his delivery route on the evening of Thursday 1 May and was last sighted at a bakery on South Park Road, Dandenong South around 12.30am on Friday 2 May, 2014.

Concerns were raised later that morning when it was discovered his deliveries were not made and he had failed to turn up to an arranged meeting the same afternoon.

Mr Chauhan’s delivery van was located on Hutton Road in Keysborough around 3pm on Friday 2 May.

Investigators believe that a stolen 2006 Toyota Camry sedan ULO 972 is involved in Shiva’s disappearance. This stolen vehicle has never been recovered.

Detectives believe Mr Chauhan may have been taken to Phillip Island in the early hours of Friday 2 May

After receiving this information, police searched Flynn’s Beach on 3 February last year but failed to locate anything relating to the investigation.

Missing Persons Squad Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Rhodes has now appealed for public help.

“Today marks two years since Mr Chauhan’s disappearance. We are treating this as suspicious and believe someone out there knows where he is,” Det Sen Sgt Rhodes said.

“We are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and contact police.”

Police have again released a photo of Mr Chauhan in the hope that someone may know his whereabouts, along with a photo of a vehicle similar to the maroon Toyota.
