A 57-year-old Indian man has been charged with his partner's murder in Sydney suburb of Glenwood.
The police were called to the Glenwood duplex following the discovery of a 56-year-old woman's dead body by her son on Tuesday afternoon.
Jagdish Singh who was arrested from nearby Kings Langley shopping centre after the alleged crime has been charged with the murder of his partner Harjit Kaur.
Singh was arrested several hours later by police at a nearby shopping centre, and his car has been seized for forensic investigation.

Acting Superintendent Wayne Humphrey said, ‘The crime scene is still being processed by forensic police and number of witnesses are being interviewed.”
reports that Singh did not appear in the court and he did not apply for a bail.
