Two doctors in a government hospital in India have been filmed locked in a bitter altercation while a woman was being operated upon.

Surgeon Dr. Ashok Nenival and anesthesiologist Dr. ML Tak were in the operation theatre along with the other medical staff to perform a c-section surgery on a woman.

While the operation was on, Dr. Nenival and Dr. Tak began arguing over a surgery performed prior to the one that was underway at the time.

The heated exchange got so intense that the Dr. Nenival, leaving the surgery midway began to charge towards the Dr. Tak. One of the assisting staff members was able to hold the surgeon back.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at the Umed hospital in Jodhpur in Rajasthan.

The hospital administration is now investigating whether the altercation between the two doctors led to a woman delivering a still-born child.

Surgeon Dr. Ashok Nenival has been removed as a lecturer and the administration has also recommended a disciplinary action against anesthesiologist Dr. Tak.
