Detectives from Epping Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team are investigating an indecent assault on a teenage girl in Reservoir last week.
Investigators have been told a 15-year-old Reservoir girl was walking to school at the rear of a Plenty Road shopping centre about 8.30am on Tuesday 22 August.
A unknown man attempted to indecently assault her and made an inappropriate comment, Police said.
The girl pushed the man’s hand away and he fled the scene.
Police have released CCTV footage of a man that they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
According to Police, the man is perceived to be of Indian sub-continental appearance, aged in his 20s.
