Joginder Singh's family has called New Zealand home for nearly 100 years now

Joginder Singh's grandfather Phuman Singh first landed in Auckland in 1920, aboard a ship named Mahino.

He was accompanied by four other friends, and they had sailed to New Zealand after staying in Singapore for around six months.
