Protesters have chalked a rainbow outside Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull's home, telling the government to keep their "hands off" the anti-bullying Safe Schools program.

The controversial program designed to reduce bullying of LGBTIQ students is currently undergoing an independent review.

Activists can be seen in a video chalking and discussing the program while a lone AFP officer looks on.

The review of the Safe Schools program is being handed to the government on Friday.
