Kahl Wallis, 26
Deadly brother Kahl Wallis is the front man for the Brisbane-based band The Medics and he does a kick-ass job.
If you haven't heard of The Medics then you need to check them out.
Armed with his guitar, mic and killer vocals, Kahl is on the path to making a difference through music.
Rachael Hocking, 22
Rachael is a black, deadly and beautiful journalist whose cool, calm and collected nature sparks positive vibrations when you meet her.
Rachael knows too well that the media is core to changing the negative stereotypes about Indigenous peoples in the media industry.
Her passion and dedication has already established her as great reporter.
Chris Tamwoy, 19
Chris Tamwoy has a unique gift of creating amazing music on his guitar. His gift has taken him to places he never thought he would go and has earned him the nickname "Magic Fingers”.
Chris has played at various major events and festivals including TEDx (Aus) and the Byron Bay Blues Festival, and he is making a name for himself as one of Australia's most creative virtuoso guitarists.
Shane Tipungwutit, 13
Last year Shane Tipungwutit's life would change forever. In 2014, Shane became a super-hero by saving the life of a 3-year-old kid from drowning in a waterhole. Shane pulled the little kid from the water and gave him CPR to save his life.
This heroic act would lead to Shane being awarded the NT Pride of Australia Outstanding Bravery medal in 2014. Shane is a shining example of how it is important to learn water safety as you never know when you will need to use it.
Peter Nathan, 27
As an international rights advocate and one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, Peter Nathan has become one of the most influential Indigenous youths in Australia today.
In 2008, Peter Nathan represented Australia at the United Nations Permanent Forum of Indigenous Issues.
He currently works as a coordinator of the Oxfam Youth and Self-Determination Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
Amelia Telford, 20
Amelia Telford is young, smart and passionate. Amelia is from the North Coast of NSW and she has had a passion for environmental issues since she was a teenager.
It is her passion and perseverance that has led her to take the role of coordinator of the Australian Youth Climate Coalition, an action group that makes positive changes to the environment.
Miranda Tapsell, 25
Miranda Tapsell is one of Australia’s most prominent Indigenous actors in Australia. If you haven't seen The Sapphires movie, which she stars in, then you must be living under a rock.Since The Sapphires, Miranda has starred in ABC’s Redfern Now and Channel 9’s Love Child television drama series, and she is a strong advocate for reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
Dean Brady, 10
At age 9, Dean Brady captured the hearts of Australia TV viewers with his rendition of the classic love ballad "My Girl" on Seven Network’s Australia's Got Talent show.
Since this amazing performance, Dean performs at major Australian events and recently performed on the classic children’s show Sesame Street.
Carly Wallace, 30
Carly is a cool, calm and funny television presenter who always puts her friends and family first.
Her interest as a broadcast presenter goes way back where she would pretend to be a sports commentator as a kid. Carly, who graduated from the Australian Film Television and Radio School, started as a presenter at 4KIG-FM in Townsville.
Carly has won various awards including the AV Myers Indigenous Award for exceptional talent and has received recognition within the Indigenous community with a “Deadly Awards” nomination.
Brandon Walters, 19
Brandon is best known for his role as “Nullah” in Baz Luhrmann's epic film Australia.
Brandon, who was known as the cute little kid from Broome, is now a household name. Since his acting debut, Brandon has become a star on NITV childrens series Bushwhacked along with co-star Kayne Tremills.
