An Aboriginal man has died at a Western Australian hospital.
The man was an inmate at Hakea Prison in Perth and was taken to hospital on Thursday.
In a statement, the Department of Justice and Corrective Services said "The 51-year-old Aboriginal man was admitted to Fiona Stanley Hospital on 1 February for treatment following a medical episode."
The department confirmed he died in hospital on Monday morning.
