Koori Knockout Wrap: Day 3

Day 3 saw some of the closest nail biting games ever to be seen at the Koori Knockouts while a home favourite saw the end to their year long campaign to win.

Day 3 of the Koori Knockouts did not disappoint as fans watching were treated to some amazing men's round two and three games. Crowd favourite, 2016 winner and the team tipped to win the Redfern All Blacks were knocked out by underdogs Combined Countries in the upset of 2017. Here are the scores and the highlights of the day:

Game of the day:

Game of the day goes to the match between the Toomelah Tigers and Combined Countries. The game started with Combined Countries racing out to take a significant lead leaving Tigers fans stunned. Not giving up the fight the Tigers clawed back to take the lead. Combined Countries were able to tie it all back again with a brilliant try. Watch below to see the result:
