The Slovenian was asked by a journalist in the post-stage press conference if he could "guarantee to us that we have nothing to worry about in terms of your credibility," as the Tour moves past the halfway point and into the crucial final week.
And after a day on the Grand Colombier which had more huge implications in the GC battle, notably the performance of the previous year's winner Egan Bernal who dropped 10 spots to 13th place, Roglič was adamant everything was above board in his camp.
"I think they are doing a lot of controls. Today, a little after 6 am, I had a full control," Roglič said. "I also now just had a control, so I think there is really nothing to hide."
"At least looking from my side, you can definitely trust it."
Speaking on Stage 15 itself, which produced a demanding three climbs that tested the riders once again, Roglič was complementary of his Jumbo-Visma teammates for pulling off a great collective performance that helped him to a second-place finish.
"The guys were really strong, actually the plan was to let the breakaway go, it wasn't on us to [control] the race," Roglic said. "But then we saw we can control it and the guys were feeling really well."
"Unfortunately, I was a little too short at the end, but anyway it was a really nice day for us."
Fellow Slovenian Tadej Pogačar remains in second place, forty seconds behind Roglič in the GC standings after winning his second stage of the Tour, and the yellow jersey holder admitted he was beaten this time and vowed to remain competitive going forward.
"For sure he was the strongest and I am a little bit disappointed about that," Roglič said. "We are friends, but we all want to win and we will always fight it out all the way."
The riders and the viewers of the Tour de France have a rest day tomorrow, racing resuming with Stage 16 on Tuesday evening with a day in the mountains again on the agenda, with a punchy climb to Villard-de-Lans the final ascent. The stage begins on the SBS ŠKODA Tour Tracker at 8.55pm AEST on Tuesday evening, with the television broadcast set to start at 9.30pm on SBS VICELAND.
