Having attended the opening night of Randy Rainbow’s stage show, actress Rosie O’Donnell reportedly let slip that she and Gaga would be co-staring in a remake of Funny Girl, originally starring Barbara Streisand as Fanny Brice in 1964.
The comments were overheard by ABC reporter Brian O'Keefe and verified on social media by a fellow audience member.
It would be the second time Gaga took on a Streisand role, with the iconic performer starring in the 1976 version of A Star Is Born.
