While a few men skimped out on the Camp theme of this year's Met Gala (*cough* Liam Hemsworth and Richard Madden), the majority rose to the occasion - ditching the traditional suit and tie for some suitably flamboyant looks.

Here are some of our favourite looks from Hollywood's leading men.

Hamish Bowles

The English fashion journalist and editor, who has been the European editor-at-large for American Vogue since 1995, served purple and feathers and heels.

Billy Porter

The star of Pose won praise at this year's Academy Awards by wearing a stunning tuxedo ball gown - and his incredible Met Gala offering exceeded all expectations.

Ezra Miller

The Perks of Being a Wallflower actor had all eyes on him when he hit the red carpet with this incredibly trippy look.

Harry Styles

At 25 years old, Harry Styles is the youngest co-host in Met Gala history - and his sheer, see-through black number, complete with pearl earring, didn't disappoint.

Ryan Murphy

The creator of Pose and American Horror Story served up big pearl energy.

Jordan Roth

As the President and majority owner of Jujamcyn Theatres, it's littler surprise that Jordan Roth delivered some theatre with his look.

Jared Leto

With a nod to Alessandro's Autumn/Winter 18 runway, Leto shocked onlookers by carrying his own head on the red carpet.

Alessandro Michele

The creative director of Gucci stunned as Harry Styles' left-hand man on the red carpet.

Darren Criss

The star of The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Storydidn't shy away from a colourful spot of makeup.
