The second season of Ryan Murphy's groundbreaking TV series, which explores the stories of New York City's ballroom culture, will be set in 1990 - the year Madonna's hit song 'Vogue' was released.
Despite not raking in huge ratings, the series has been praised for its dedication to diverse casting and storytelling, making history for having the most trans actors ever in an American scripted TV series.

FX CEO John Landgraf said the show had already "revolutionised television", calling it "an incredibly engaging story of creativity, courage, compassion, love and family at a pivotal time in our culture."

He added: “As television critics have universally acknowledged, there is simply nothing like Pose on TV, so effortlessly excelling on every creative level and earning a place in television history for its infectiously inclusive spirit."
