An 11-year-old from the UK has met his idol, Australian star Courtney Act, as part of a short documentary film produced by .

Leo, who has a drag persona by the name of Violet Vixen, is a super-fan of reality TV show RuPaul's Drag Race and lists Act, who made the final three of season 5, as one of his favourites.
Leo got visibly emotional upon meeting Act, who recently won Celebrity Big Brother in the UK, and admitted that he can sometimes have trouble fitting in. However, Act was quick to give the youngster some sound advice.

“I think as you get older and grow up a lot of that trouble in finding friends becomes easier because you get to slowly accumulate more people who understand you and who think the same," she said.

“I think you just have to keep living who are you and celebrating it every single day.”

Following the touching meet-and-greet, Leo said: “It was the best moment of my life – mainly because she was lovely, she was nice and she’s also the first drag queen I ever saw.”
Speaking on ITV daytime talk show Loose Women, Leo's mother, Lauren, described how she felt about her son doing drag.

“He’s always been flamboyant and a big character and he’s always wanted to dress in high heels and things," she said.
“I thought it was a normal phase but from when he was six, people started to say he should have grown out of it. It wasn’t until a few months later I thought it was time to knock it on the head."

Lauren continued, describing the pressure she felt from others to curb Leo's passion: “If I followed my instinct I would have just let him carry on, but someone commented that I was making him gay and they said gay people don’t lead happy lives so I thought I had to do something.”
