Saturday December 5 – Vox Lux

Saturday December 12 – The Kindergarten Teacher

A kindergarten teacher (Maggie Gyllenhaal) becomes obsessed with one of her students, who she believes is a child prodigy.

Sunday December 13 – Incendies

Directed by Denis Villeneuve Incendies tells the story of twins who journey to the Middle East to discover their family history and fulfil their mother's last wishes.

Saturday December 19 – Little Miss Sunshine

When seven-year-old Olive (Abigail Breslin) voices her desire to win the coveted Little Miss Sunshine crown at an upcoming beauty pageant, her wildly dysfunctional family sets out on an interstate road trip. Starring Toni Collette, Steve Carell and Alan Arkin this crowd pleasing film went on to win 2 Academy Awards including Best Original Screenplay.

Sunday December 20 – Wild Tales

Made up of six stories, Wild Tales is an entertaining and jaw-dropping Argentinian film about people crossing the line into madness when faced with perceived injustice.

Wild Tales is streaming at SBS On Demand until 14 February 2021.

Saturday December 26 – Lost in Translation

Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson star in this flat-out hilarious film from Sofia Coppola (who won the Best Original Screenplay Academy Award for this film) about two Americans who develop a surprising friendship while venturing through Tokyo.

Sunday December 27 – Lust, Caution

In this espionage thriller set in WWII-era Shanghai, a young woman gets swept up in a dangerous game of emotional intrigue with a powerful political figure. Directed by Ang Lee.
