"Can you tell us about a sexual encounter where consent was an issue?"

So begins HBO Correspondent Isobel Yeung's prompt for a frank and vital conversation about sexual assault, and the essence of consent: Why is consent a hard concept for so many people to grasp? When an encounter is not consensual, what is the path to accountability and healing?

A survivor herself, Yeung takes a personal look at how we define sexual consent, hold those who violate it accountable, and move forward.

"It's only really now that this moment of cultural reckoning has come about that I think so many of us are thinking about our own experiences and our own sexual encounters," Yeung (a survivor herself), says.  "And it’s those kind of conversations -most of which have been taking place behind closed doors, between myself my friends-  that I thought, you know, it's a good time to explore what consent really means."
