It's game on with these entertaining rivalries, from domino drama to the 'who knows what will happen' antics of Question Team and Taskmaster.

Domino Masters

"I have never felt this much pressure!" says Nick, one of the amazingly skilful domino devotees taking on the challenges of a high-stakes domino toppling and chain reaction tournament in Domino Masters. There's not only pride on the line but also a $US100,000 prize.

This engaging game show has a lot of fun as it shows us just how superb the skills of some domino masters are. In the early rounds, four teams of three face off, with themed challenges and custom elements they have to incorporate into their builds and topples. Movies, time travel, holidays and the circus all get the domino treatment as the winning teams move into the final rounds, whittling down the numbers until only three teams remain in a 'Sky's The Limit' challenge, where they can build whatever they want. Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family) hosts, while three judges make the final decisions (Bill Nighy pops up as a guest judge in the quarter finals).

See 10-part series Domino Masters, Saturdays 6.30pm from 6 August on SBS VICELAND, with episodes available at SBS On Demand after they air.

Modern Marvels: Toys

If you're a fan of board games, don't miss a chance to join Adam Richman (Man vs. Food) as he visits the factory where one of the most popular board games of all time is made: Monopoly. In this two-part series, Richman explores how some toys transform from playthings into valuable collectibles, or long-lasting classics.

In the first episode, along with some pinball action, he explores how Slinkys have kept springing back, and how the Rubik's Cube was invented. And in the second, he finds out how Masters of the Universe action figures are making a comeback in a big way, tours the Monopoly factory and sees how Mattel is using the latest technology to make new models of Hot Wheels come to life.

Two-part series Modern Marvels: Toys premiered Saturday 23 July on SBS VICELAND and . Catch the second part 6.40pm Saturday 30 July on SBS VICELAND or catch up on the first episode now:

Question Team

Question Team is many things – funny, of course, but what we mean by "many things" is the clever combination of comedy, game show, quiz and fun antics. Add in (literally, as he too gets into the action) Richard Ayoade (previously seen on ) as host, and you have a show that's original, funny and quirky.

What makes this different to other comedy quiz shows is the contestants – all are comedians, and they have written all the questions. Guests include Irishman David O'Doherty (host of travel series Along for the Ride, currently streaming ), English comedian James Acaster, who frequently appears on  and Rosie Jones, who SBS viewers might know from her travel show Trip Hazard: My Great British Adventure now streaming .
Question Team premiered on SBS VICELAND. The full series is now streaming at SBS On Demand. Start with episode 1:

Taskmaster

Comedians are also in the thick of things in this perennially popular series. The premise, as host Greg Davies puts it, is "five funny people [being] set a load of ludicrous tasks". Davies is the eponymous Taskmaster, with arbitrary assistance and analysis from Alex Horne. Guests include Mawaan Rizwan, Daisy-May Cooper and Katherine Parkinson.

Taskmaster screens 8.30pm Mondays on SBS VICELAND, with episodes available at SBS On Demand after they air.
